Here is the logic, if God created the disease, it would be wrong to interfere with Gods will.

Lightening rods were also offensive to similar men during this time period. 

In more recent time We were hit by Covid. It was mostly the religious who opposed ANY and all measures to stop Covid. Was it because they saw Covid as God’s will and punishment?

Now we live in a time when the extreme right wing religious have forced their way into the highest positions of our government. I can already see that the laws they pass will be called gods will. 

If the religious in America get their way we will all be living in a Christian version of Al-Qaeda.

The hypocritical Irony is a brutal bitch. 

We now have 5 Catholics on the Supreme Court; 4 male and 1 female. One would have to be blind to not see that they are imposing their beliefs on every person in America. They have allowed laws to stay in place that our founding fathers would have been appalled  to see. Laws that allow citizens to track and hunt each other down. I don’t need to tell you how damaging this type of witch hunt culture has been in the past. It has ALWAYS ended in the killing and jailing of the completely innocent. 

How often have states rights resulted in the loss of Human rights? Often a strong federal government is necessary to protect our self evident rights from Texas tyranny. 

The abortion laws our paper Justices have allowed to stay in place have No exceptions for rape or incest. 

In my mind our Highest court is now illegitimate. It has been hijacked by religious extremists.

I have ZERO respect for their authority. 

Is an America under their control still the land of the free? I think not. 

I wish I lived close to them so I could protest outside their homes every. Single. Day. Until their tyranny comes to an end. 

I would even compromise with exceptions for rape, incest, and health of the mother, but lose any one of these let alone all three and it is an unjust law. 

I do not consent to be governed by laws like these. 

I have heard such nonsense as;

“Don’t have sex if you don’t want a baby.” This is a dystopian simplification of human intimacy. 

“If you get pregnant it must be Gods will for you to have a baby.” This is a totalitarian use of God and makes God accessory to the foul, putrid, crimes of rape and incest.

God wants a young rape victim to have her brothers baby? 

Why would anyone want a child of incest born into this world?

Which group of people historically have a hard time with bastard children? How will they treat a child of incest? How will the child react when they find out the circumstances under which they came into the world? 

Making a human keep another human alive against their will is immoral. Corpses have more rights than women under these laws. 

By these laws Rape babies are now Gods will. 

Rape and incest are methods for bringing about precious  life in order to fulfill Gods will. 

The fact that conservatives are already talking about banning contraceptives, let alone their policies that champion selfishness,  is ALL I need to know that it is not about life, it is all about making America great again by putting women back in their Biblical prisons. It’s ironic that we have a Justice who is actively hurting herself in her current despotic position. By the words of her holy book she should not even be in a position to speak. 

I have three daughters who I love and am very scared for. 

I am a gentle soul. However, under these laws if one of my precious daughters is raped and forced to have the child of their rapist, I fear how I will react.

If any of this seems extreme to the reader please keep in mind my earlier comment that I am willing to compromise. 

I hope that all will look deep into the history of Catholicism and other religions. How often have they aligned themselves with fascism and or turned the other cheek when fascists do their evil deeds.

I no longer question the following  statement. “When fascism comes to America it will come wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross.”
